I’m loving the vineyards as they turn dark at the seasons end. Couldn’t ask for a better landscape for folks in love. Ah … love is in the air.
Lisa and Aaron are from “down south” so their Avila wedding will be a destination affair. These two have quite a fire burning between them. It’s hard not to notice their connection. After some brief tasting at one of my favorite tasting rooms, we enjoyed the warm afternoon in the bright sunshine. I love Avila and look forward to the awesome opportunities that await us. Surf, sun and sand gotta make sure I bring my sunscreen.

Winter has come to templeton with a vengence but without any intent.
It’s the natural world … so amazing so devastating. We are learning about Haiti this week. Their trouble seems so far removed from our “terrible” storm. Their lot is much diferent than ours as well. I have no stones to toss today!
The natural world reminds us sometimes how small we really are. How fragile. And how amazing. We are more than building stones or precious stones. We are God breathed …
We are miracles in flesh each one.
I love the winter with it’s thunderheads, it’s bright lightning and it’s rumble. It makes me feel alive. Reminds me I’m carefully put together. Keeps me from thinking to highly of myself … Humbles me and points out what is true … what is good …
And God said it was good!
