It was my great pleasure to spend the afternoon with these two nutz!
Yep, I said it. They are constantly kidding around – are they ever serious? Why yes, they are seriously in love. Being the good sports they are, running around Paso chasing their photographer just added to the fun of their already “having too much fun” day. Scott works on turbines at the airport so why not start there … We found the place deserted, with some small airplanes parked about and this one lonely jet. Scott mentioned how maybe it cost a couple of million … We got some great shots and then the security guard showed up … try 60 million! What a great start to having a memorable engagement shoot. I am looking forward to their beach wedding later this month. Congrats you crazy kids!
What can I say about my new friend Holly. Sure she’s cute but she is such a natural in front of the camera. Relaxed and easy going, she made our session a piece of cake. Her mom and dad are such good people so I’m not surprised at the exceptional job they have done raising such a great kid. We did her shoot at her family’s “ranch” Mondo Cellars. A great place to visit, stay or have an event, I highly recommend it. Thanks for such a great session and such great results the best of wishes as you graduate from High School and go on to college life.
She likes white, he likes red. When opposites attract … something wonderful can happen!
I love to learn about the couples I photograph. When Bobby met Rosanna she created a challenge to him. She got higher marks on a test and now they were more than classmates, now they were competitors. At least that’s how Bobby saw it. I suspect the attraction started then but Bobby didn’t give chase at first. They were reunited the following year at his birthday party … and it was on!
Rosanna played hard to get at first but in the end, they both came up winners.
Like many of the grooms I meet, Bobby was less than enthusiastic to pose for the camera but Rosanna has this affect on him and before you knew it, he had some “posing” suggestions of his own. He left our shoot with a big smile on his face.
Rosanna is lovely. Her infectious smile and warm personality make her a natural in front of the lens. I put her to the test on our “walk of peril” as we made our way to the secret cove. She rolled up her pants and dodged the incoming tide in true “take no prisoners” determination. She was going to get her beach shots!
We started our shoot at the Ventana Grill where catering manager Mariah Taylor provided the food and wine tasting. Mariah is very professional and organized. So much so that I received an updated timeline on my blackberry before I even got home that evening. I know that on the big day, she will be one of the reasons that it goes so well.
Please enjoy the slideshow below of these two very wonderful peeps.
